hey, it's mirabella. welcome to loddigesia! i abandoned the usual social media suspects a few years ago in favor of hanging out on a wonderful, algorithm- and ad-free, decrepit old app, which had been eulogized since 2016 and saw its final update years before i made my account. of course, all the things i loved about it ensured its inevitable end. sometime on the morning of 3/17/2026, it was over.
there's always going to be that risk with dinky little apps. it's not enough to scare me back onto instagram, but i did realize i'd like to have a little corner of the internet that feels a little less fragile. i've been wanting to teach myself HTML for many years, and this feels like the perfect opportunity to start. i'm programming this site from scratch, so it may be a while before it looks pretty.
